Jan Welling

My name is Jan Welling, and I live in The Netherlands. For the first time in a long time I went on Holiday for China. As an adventurous "youngster" of 61 years, I wanted to start a China-trade company to make some bucks. In the month of May, 2010, I went to Shenzhen, a city near the coast of about 15 million people! about as much as in the whole of the Netherlands, where I live.. After three weeks of visiting company's I had a big dinner on the 21st of May, my birthday.. I, of course, wanted to show off by eating their famous hot dishes without moving a muscle.. so I took some big spoonfuls of hot (dried red peppered) pigs ears.. Swallowed them down with some Chinese beer and found out, later in my hotel, my stomach was all swollen.. Later, I felt the clump of hotness and pain, moving downwards..to end in my right underbelly.. I wasn't alarmed because that's always when having extremely hot food, you enjoy it twice, so to say.. Next day I was having sever pains and I decided to go to a hospital. I thought it could be an appendicitis.. According to the doctor it was and it needed operating.. He pointed at my belly and said: "we can take that also out". It was a kind of pacemaker he pointed at, but generating a signal to act against my Parkinson's. I have that disease for already 15 years.. I told the man what it was but suddenly his English broke down and I couldn't explain what it was… I couldn't afford any mistakes made by them so I asked if I could get some penicillin to " cool the inflammation down". He said ok and I went to another big facility where there were a few hundred Chinese getting their cures. All patiently waiting for the bottles to stop dripping. There people get no pills but they have to take the stuff in the hospital each day, after which they go home.. So, all diseases mingle there. Not a place to be staying… Vomit everywhere.. At least the needles were taken clean out of their wrapping paper.. So for two days (three hours per day) I went to get my cure and indeed was feeling much better. The next day, I tried to book an early plane back to The Netherlands but had to wait a whole day on Hongkong Airport.. Still feeling quite well. So finally I could catch a plane for the long flight home, 12.5 hrs. it took…. When I landed at Amsterdam Airport, my youngest daughter was waiting and she drove me to my car in the Hague. I took a two hour nap and drove in one and a half hour, back home. Next morning I wanted to go to my doctor and let him decide what to do. When I woke up next morning I felt really sick and I had fever attacks, shivering and shaking like hell, so I called an old friend and asked him to get me to the Belgian hospital, where they also knew all about my implanted stimulator. Arrived there, and after taking my temperature, they were shocked to see that I ran high fevers, up till 41,6 degrees centigrade! So they started to make preparations for an operation, to take the appendix out.. The doctor opened me up and couldn't find my appendix in the rivers of pus..all necrotic and eating away.. So I needed a second operation where they really opened me up to get my bowels out and clean the wound out properly..The cutting started and I remember waking up in excruciating pains. After exchanging bandages I was shocked to see the gaping wound.. One could easily put two hands in it and applaud! Changing of bandages was terribly painful, I cursed and swore for which I later on excused myself.. Three times I asked them to end my life..because I was really miserable. feces and pus came out together..After five more operations and one month on the ICU, I could go to the regular hospital. Where I had to stay another three weeks and they transplanted some thigh skin on the wound. for two weeks they put the vac therapy on/in the wound to get a fast result.. it was a great help in curing and closing the wound. the other wounds healed rather quick.. but it takes at least another year to get back my strength. I had my first operation in the end of may.. the 29th. The sixth on the 12th of July. I got out of hospital the 17th of July. I had lost 40 pounds. But that comes back real fast now.. The bacteria were: Proteus Vulgaris, Escherichia Coli, Prevotella Corporis, Bacteroides Fragilis, Enterococcus Faecalis, Escherichia Coli, that's not all but from the first and second growth in Petri dish. Further I reacted allergic to Zinacef, Cephallosporine Pennicillum. So I also am glad that I survived.. I enclosed pictures to show how bad it was and also to see how I healed with of course some help from Above. It just wasn't my time…
